Ash's Party: You may place up to 6 Pokemon figures to the side before any battle. Ash can call any of these Pokemon, at any time provided it is during Ash's movement phase, to Ash's location. Likewise, the Pokemon can be withdrawn at any time. The only exception is Pikachu, who starts battle at the start of the game and cannot be withdrawn. Pikachu does not make up the 6 in the party.
Catch: Roll a die. On a roll of 1, the Pokemon is not caught; 2-3 Roll the die again, but lose 1x Pokeball; 4 The Pokemon is not caught, but loses half its remaining hit points; 5-6 The Pokemon is caught and join's Ash's Pokemon Party. This only applies to Wild Pokemon and cannot be used on other Trainer's Pokemon Parties, or if Ash's Party is full of 6 Pokemon.
Fishing: Ash can bring water-based creatures (excluding water-based vehicles), that are within 5 inches from shore, to the shore, provided Ash is at that shore.
Pokeflute: Ash can awaken any sleeping characters provided he is within 3 inches of them.
Pokedex: Flip a coin. If Heads, Ash's Intelligence increases +1, for the remainder of the game, for every Pokemon he makes base-to-base contact with. A coin must be flipped whenever contact is made. This only works once for each different Pokemon. If Tails, this has no effect.
